Counter-terror operations (IBOs) and results
DG ISPR stated that 75,175 intelligence-based operations (IBOs) were conducted, averaging 26 operations per day.
He said these operations resulted in 2,597 terrorists being killed.
Focus on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan
DG ISPR shared that 14,658 operations were conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He added that more than 1,800 terrorists were killed in KP during these operations.
Afghanistan factor and “Fitna al Khawarij”
DG ISPR linked several terror-related networks and facilitation to Afghanistan and referred to “Fitna al Khawarij” in his briefing.
